Disagree about the price aspect. I looked seriously at ordering a new 2023 Camaro until the dealer mentioned “markup due to it being a performance car”. Told them to stick up their asses.
I don’t think price was the issue. GM added the LT1 trim, which made the base V8 cheaper than a Mustang GT and it still didn’t bump sales.
