Oh man, I wish they would do that here. A wanker keeps parking his plug-in hybrid in one of the few stations near here and goes to work. The battery is so small it’s charged in 30 minutes, but his POS Jeep sits there for 8 hours.

Were these ranked by total number of thefts, or percentage of thefts from total vehicles on the road? If it’s the former, then the list is less helpful, since many of these vehicles have had a lot of units sold, and thus are targets of opportunity.

It would be helpful to include information on why each of these models…

This is the Class Action Industrial Complex in action. The lawyers get rich, the people get a cup of coffee (no special orders!), and the companies pass on the costs to their future customers. No behavior gets changed. It is really hard to see this as some form of extra-governmental regulation or ground roots watch…

It happens.  I bought my 93 Mr2 NA from an older gent with back issues.  He was in his 60's looked great for his age but his back just couldn’t take anymore getting in and out of low slung cars.  Car was immaculate and well maintained and I could tell it killed him to sell it.
