The issue is, when the punishment is only a punishment for the poor, it’s a misguided law.

I know you probably get a ton of inquiries like this, but “I want a luxury SUV! What luxury SUV should I buy?” is getting a little stale. It’s hard to have fun with it when you can count the viable choices on one hand.

Not surprising at all. Dodge has been very successful in milking the “special edition” vehicles with a paint job and a markup for a long time now. They’ve done what, 20 of them on the “last call” challengers? They know their target market, and they know what works.

I'd argue government subsidies and mandates did more for EVs than Elon. Elon is great at the PT Barnum routine, but making EVs cool for affluent people just isn't as big a deal as people make it out to be. 

Death to tesla.  Yeah I know they did a lot for EV’s and people will lose jobs but I’m really looking forward to seeing Musky get his comeuppance.  Worth it.
