The Maverick is proof that people want cheap cars, you just have to make them desirable. That said, a 20k EV will not be desirable, well maybe if it had a Tesla badge on it.

What I remember from the old import magazines of past was that they only got the GTR crash tested and they were bringing in regular GTS’ as GTRs or vise versa. They also were supposedly swapping 240sx vins on imported skylines and or registering them as kit cars. They did a handful of things right but a bucket more…

“Reputable” and Motorex don’t go together. IIRC out of all the cars they imported only a few were actually legal. The rest ended up in the crusher.

I enjoy reading about these people getting what they deserve, but this being on Jalopnik is a stretch. If you can’t even mention the make and model of the car that makes this a "car article" its probably better suited somewhere else. 

Those fancy airless tires. I remember reading about them a decade ago. Every so often they pop up, but they soon disappear back into the background. 

Won’t get a better head turner at that price. Buy it, run it till the engine catches fire and swap out the engine with a good ol LS and have yourself a reliable daily driver.

I grew up in the Northwest and moved the the central valley two years ago. I call their winters Seattle summers. 

Is the term "luxury" even relevant anymore? I mean like yea a Bentley will always be luxury but a base model CLA or 3 series is in the same category? Or is luxury just based off of the price of a vehicle?
