I had to cast a 300 mile net to find a Toyota dealer that didn’t want a 5k markup on a new Sienna. I had to drive 2.5 hours to get one with only a 3k markup and still had to fight to get the add-ons reduced. Seems like they all list them at MSRP on autotrader, but when you called they would tell you their markups.

I would use public transportation 100% if it existed in my area. But sadly it doesn't, and people aren't gonna want to spend tax dollars to make public transportation a thing, because public transportation is for poor people and poor people are gross.

We live in a small town, my wife knows all the new cops there, she went to highschool with most of them. From what she tells me they aren't the smartest around, and college would definitely be very difficult for them.

Nobody is gonna take their 2008 Camry and throw 5k at it to make it electric. But if there was a company that was willing to buy up old Camrys and Rav4s and refresh and convert them to electric with decent range it might make more sense. Especially if they can sell them for under 20k.
