I don’t gather from this that they’re nerfing gally, they’re just leaving it behind and making you get new stuff. Gally will be the same, you can still use it the same, but it won’t mean anything in your 30s.

I understand that, but I think it would be more of a cop-out if they kept all the same gear and it just leveled up with you. When you level up in ANY game, be it MMO or otherwise, your old gear becomes obsolete, that’s just how it goes. I really liked my super fast lvl 20 pulse rifle, but it won’t kill anything at 32.

Don’t most MMOs make all gear obsolete with every expansion and level cap increase? This seems pretty standard.
