4C owner. Defended manual transmissions almost to the death.

Patrick, does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe?

If it can pull those G’s and it weighs so little, then we might need to measure the braking force in G’s to truly put that into perspective. A revised valve train and bigger turbo can transform an engine. Just a hunch, but an Italian company that builds race cars is probably — just probably — going to have a hyped up,

“Ferrari is pitting for a set of Schrader Softs, but I think that is a tactical mistake with 10 laps to go, because they start fade after three laps!” —-Future Will Buxton

“Open Deck” = accounting meets engineering and it doesn’t go well.

Son of a bitch. I have too many loves already, then this thing walks into my life. I give up.

Best opening paragraph in Jalopnik history: “I love to drive. My car is my happy place. I love taking it places. Often, though, I find myself screaming from behind the wheel at some idiot crap that another driver has pulled. Because driving with other people ruins driving. Because other people are hell.”

Active aero can reduce downforce if it’s not called for, I suppose, and modern downforce trickery is to get more downforce without adding drag. Everyone figured out downforce, but getting it without drag penalty is really what the downforce hype in recent years is about. Vortex generators, getting wings and spoilers

I’ve had two; both had decent clutch travel, but if you can get off the line in a car with no low-end torque and with a passenger and the A/C compressor running, you can drive anything. No argument on clutch feel; just the nature of the beast. Redline near 8,000 rpms (plenty of time to think about that next shift!);

Find an old Celica GTS. Most underrated car ever.

225/50's on 15" rims... and they were a very small sidewall for their day. 50's were finding their way onto cars, but not with @ 225 in size, so definitely one of the shortest sidewalls.

Taking her to C&C. 100% original, survivor w/ 91,00 Miles.

I’m takin’ her to Cars and Coffee this weekend. 100% original, survivor.

Harris appeared to brake early, but it’s not conclusive given the circumstances. But to the Andy Newell, it was a bit of surprise. Harris may very well have been at the braking point for that car. Off to Maranello with the smashed Ferrari, which will be even more famous now.

I literally posted something that is the opposite of ‘uppity.’ You’re struggling here. Some words/phrases that you’ve used that show that: Crying, uppity, ‘show them off’, ‘cars being shown’. I’m literally explaining that the original C&C concept was just people being down-to-earth and talking about cars — any

That’s the point: C&C has been spun into a car show, so now car show culture rears its ugly head. It’s supposed to be just anybody showing up to chat about cars, etc. The C&C ‘brand’ was about people... cars... chatting... and not really anything like a show.

Don’t recall talking to you, but irony rears its head, as you are the one that needs to get over something: My opinion.

Please stop referring to C&C as a car show. Please.

Maserati will be competing in Formula E, as a natural next step. This is pretty much assured.

Sauber runs Ferrari’s 2016 engines, in a special arrangement with the FIA, for the sake of keeping them on the grid. Engine suppliers are supposed to supply the current year’s spec engine.
