Different vs. V8, but I kinda like it. Then again, I had to suffer through F1 moving to turbos, and compared to how F1 erased a massive part of the visceral experience for the fans, the Supercar change is ok..

Yeah, you can total a house. I was making a point though. If the owner’s property is 40,000 market value, a good chunk of that is the land, which isn’t going anywhere, so ‘totalling’ a house gets trickier, because all the $$ he is insured for could result in repairs being the wisest thing. He just gets the max…
Only a sinkhole can do that, given the land is most of the value.
This post is racist
When your brand is “We’re Dicks. Screw Off”, how can you ask them not to be dicks and suggest they not tell people to screw off? They are the number one brand or flirt with it every year. So, they should stop a component of what makes them Ferrari? Do you know the legacy with Enzo? Who is going to make this stop?…
Ciao. Cool, don’t care. I work in the industry. J.A. is on the hook to solve problems. He was a shit presence in Maranello. Good riddance to him and to you. I don’t recall saying he designed the 2017 Merc, but he’s on point to get shit done and sorted.
You don’t know how business and jobs with big-time responsibility works, so let me walk you through, before you embarrass yourself further. How a James Allison gets paid and how his job works: He has to show improvement, in the chassis/aero/package/whatever, by X date, and his concepts and team’s execution needs to…
That’s what you’ve been told, or led to believe.
WHY FERRARI HAS THE FRONT ROW:
Looks like they lost control and dropped the anchor in desperation. Fly-by-wire in these big ships? Probably failed.
I believe the issue was the Japanese. You are now making points by referring to GM? The issue on the table is that I say Honda give up. You went on to make a point about Japanese biz culture. They had given up — quite substantially — with sports cars in the USA for quite some time there, as Ford mopped the floor…
You’ll be hard pressed to explain why the Japanese jumped out of the U.S. sports car and sport coupe market, which is essentially quitting something in which they were crushed at by the Germans and the Americans.
Someone forgot to tell you that quitting is a viable option.
The once-mighty Mclaren is hopeful to beat Sauber soon. Sauber, who are running last year’s Ferrari engines past their expiration date.
As long as Jag keeps spraying fuel into their trick exhaust system and igniting it on purpose, I guess the sky is the limit for exhaust sound, whether it’s a 4 banger or sweet V8.
Oh, cool... now we know it was the right thing to do for fans and for motor sports. Thanks for the affirmation through dementia, Bernie.
This is probably mostly a result of Italian disorganization coming off looking like Pagani is pretty down to earth. I am inclined to believe they didn’t plan out the day quite right and that’s pretty much an Italian business hallmark.
And when you’re off you’re still connected to everyone working and wind up at least half working anyway.
Well, I’ll take races that are down to this sort of fine detail and narrow margin of error. In years past, Merc could have gotten away with it. I did lose track of the tires used in qualifying.
You sure about that? Hamilton got out of that pickle in Q2 and it was misreported he posted his best time in Q2 on used tires. It was later noted they were new and he was using as new a tire as anyone else. I’m not sure though. The whole season could be lights out starts and tire degradation, so we’ll watch…
