I signed up for G+ to get the Picasa storage upgrade. Haven't used it since. Guess that makes me an "upgraded user".

Currently Google offers 1GB of storage for Picasa... unless you link your Picasa account to Google+ then you get unlimited storage for pics under certain sizes and videos under specific lengths. [support.google.com] I suspect GDrive will do the same. Otherwise 1GB is fairly paltry compared to the rest of the market.

Our toaster pops with some gusto so I would probably setup some sort of backstop to prevent the toaster from shooting molten-cheese-bread onto the floor when it pops.

When I first started using computers I started showing carpal tunnel symptoms. Wrist braces and some training kicked that. Years later sitting in a chair kills my back and knees and now I wear glasses when I'm staring at an LCD all day.

Are you saying when you hear "Vancouver" you think Vancouver, WA not Vancouver, BC because it came first? Maybe, just maybe it has something to do with size and economic impact.
