I signed up for G+ to get the Picasa storage upgrade. Haven't used it since. Guess that makes me an "upgraded user".

Currently Google offers 1GB of storage for Picasa... unless you link your Picasa account to Google+ then you get unlimited storage for pics under certain sizes and videos under specific lengths. [support.google.com] I suspect GDrive will do the same. Otherwise 1GB is fairly paltry compared to the rest of the market.

This is where people mention Tasker [play.google.com] but for something easy like this, I prefer AutomateIt. [play.google.com] It's free and dirt simple to use.

Our toaster pops with some gusto so I would probably setup some sort of backstop to prevent the toaster from shooting molten-cheese-bread onto the floor when it pops.
