Years ago, I had an HP keyboard that had a new-mail LED. I got totally addicted to it. I'd upgrade systems but always use the same old keyboard. It was pretty damn cool (until the space started sticking and the 'K' stopped working). Now I actually have to look at my computer. Sigh.

I thought it interesting that Nielsen titled their article "Android Soars, but iPhone Still Most Desired...", whereas Gizmodo's summary of that article is "New Smartphone Users Prefer Android...".

@Locke-PeterW: A section of our yard is watered via drip irrigation. We ran a tube underground and up the pedestal into the bird bath. It took us a little while to figure out the correct rate so that the bath doesn't become a waterfall nor dry out by the end of the day.

@unekdoud: The thing I didn't like about Street Slide is that to effectively speed down the street, you had to do it sideways - looking at what you were passing, not where you were going, and only one side of the street at that.
