Oh, Thane. I love you. I was going to romance him the 2nd time around, but then the Citadel DLC pack came out and I needed to play through all the new Garrus-romance scenes. Though the Thane memorial service in the DLC just tore me up inside.

As someone who just finished ME3 and saved Ashely- Ashley is mostly like that too. This just seems to be the role for the Virmire survivor. Especially since I played FemShep and there was no romance/flirting, she mostly felt like an unnecessary character.

I have not actually played any of the Dragon Age games! I really want to, but now I'm deciding if it's worth it to wait for a trilogy box set for PS4 rather than get Origins and 2 for PS3 and Inquisition for PS4.

Also, I don't know if you've watched any of it, but if you like Jennifer Hale as Shep you might really dig her as Carol Davers (then Ms. Marvel, now Captain Marvel) in the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon. There's a lot of similarities in the characters, and Hale gives another excellent performance.

I recently did a second playthrough of Mass Effect, and I tried out MaleShep since I did FemShep the first time around (and mostly cause I wanted to romance different characters). I got about 2 hours in, gave up because Jennifer Hale is just clearly the superior voice actor, and went back to FemShep.
