One of the strangest things about the Cuban economy is that tourists have to use a different form of currency than Cubans. I can't describe it well, but my mother went to Cuba last year and wrote a lot about it. So, I'm just going to quote her.

Cisgender means that your gender identity matches the sex you were assigned at birth. So, I'm a cis woman because I identify myself as a woman and I was identified as female at birth. You can be straight, gay, asexual, whatever. It's specifically referring to gender identity rather than sexual orientation.
