Bubba, when I took my oath of allegiance, I didn’t have to offer fealty to the President. But I did have to affirm this:
They’re supposed to support the country, not the person in office.
You fucking dumbass, no Navy unit serves a president (aside from that president being a US citizen like any other US citizen). We’re not in Chile or the Philippines or Thailand.
Agreed! I felt like I needed a shower after looking at those photos. I actually said “ewwww” out loud at work.
I don’t care if the seats are made out of chupacabra skins tanned by elves in sherwood forest, the inside of that car looks like a family of coal miners lived in it. Not interested at half price.
I have seen 30-year-old moldy, itchy sofas left out on the curbside for days of rain and mildew that looked more appetizing than that interior. I want to puke just looking at it.
Right? Life’s is hard. It’s so much easier to elect a fascist!
I own a 2005 A6 with 140k miles (3.0 TDI Manual shift wagon, just to tell you) with many extras that has about zero problems now and never had any major repairs.... That car just does it’s job...
This!
My biggest gripe with most American cars is that their interiors are still pretty bad. I have yet to see an American car with an interior as good as any German car. Heck, I’d say that even a 10 year old Audi has a better interior than a new American car. If I’m spending 8-10 hours a week inside a car then it better…
You’re averaging mid 20's in your four wheel drive Yukon? Nope, no you aren’t.
You do?! I only get 16.5-ish in my GMT900 Suburban with mostly highway driving. 4L60E or 6L60E in yours?
Ohio is in, like, Extra America. You ever go to the little gas station deli in Raymond for lunch? I love that place.
Honda tends to keep safety ratings in mind in addition to economy. The Ridgeline has been made a 5 star vehicle in the past, and the new one got the IIHS top truck rating. That means more weight and structure for passenger safety even if the MPG is rated a bit less.
I worked on one of the early prototypes when I interned at Honda R&D in Ohio a few years back. Ohio is in America.
Let me tell you, this is a whole-ass american vehicle. Feels like one. Was designed like one. Is built like one. They designed and make ‘em here.
Designed and built in america.
