Kate, you seem to be under the mistaken impression that the contestants don’t get to practice this season. They DO. It’s been mentioned multiple places.

Fair point. I did grimace when she announced her flavors for the Battenburg, but, like I said... I clearly cannot be trusted to judge because I’m too easily charmed. ;-)

I’m so happy GBBO/S is back. The moment the song started, it was so comforting and my friend whom I was watching with agreed we both felt better.

This just breaks my heart. Hogan is easily in my top 5 people I’ve gotten to meet while working the conventions. He was always kind, friendly, and endlessly gracious. He treated everyone with respect, and it’s nothing short of tragic that this happened. 

This is just all kinds of upsetting to me. Tigers are one of my favorite creatures and knowing this goes on just hurts my heart. The producers of Tiger King made a major misstep by focusing on the human garbage that is Joe Exotic and Carol Baskins’ feud and Joe’s general insanity.
