I know lots of people loved Cheer, but man, I just fucking couldn’t. It was recommended to me by my team lead at work, thinking that it would inspire me to be more vocal and more of a cheerleader at work (she specifically cited Jerry in her recommendation).

I adore Shran in a possibly-bordering-on-unhealthy way. This may be my favorite moment from Enterprise, though...

Oh, indeed. By no means do I feel this is a comprehensive list. It’s simply a good starting point.

Let us not forget the infamous WW script which was basically a Steve Trevor Movie that just happened to feature WW eyecandy...

Anyone upset with this (and I’ve seen a handful) can SUCK IT! I am absolutely thrilled that these fantastic Clone Wars characters are crossing over, and that awesome people are getting to play them!

That was amazing. I was giggling the whole time.

I have made his wellington recipe. It is to DIE for...

None of them are wearing pants... the second one from the left is wearing a longer skirt than the others and dark hose.

No one was asking for them to SHOW THE TRIP. What they were asking for was some indication that time actually PASSED between when people left places and arrived at their destinations, which didn’t happen.

No love for the Dresden Files RPG? They’re written as though one of the characters (Billy) is adapting the titular adventures into RPG material and are filled with delightfully snarky asides from many of the characters.

This is entirely in keeping with Luminara’s personality as shown in the earlier seasons.

Asks someone who has clearly never read this series. Butcher takes great pains to have magic do things like comply with the laws of physics and have limitations.

This news made me ridiculously happy.

This just makes me angry all over again that everyone decided to push off Leia’s “turn” in the spotlight until the last movie. There’s no damned reason we couldn’t have seen this stuff if they hadn’t relegated her to the sidelines for most of the damn storyline.

Yup, I get that. The books and the show are slightly different, but I enjoyed both. To me, having show-Geralt be kind of a dick and off-handedly say “oh, child surprise” only to have destiny bite him in the ass works for that iteration.

Oh, in the show, it seemed like he was just being a smartass, only to have destiny give him the middle finger. In the books, he 100% knew Pavetta was pregnant.

The whole point of the Child Surprise being invoked by Witchers is to take said child and train them as a witcher. I’m fairly certain that was at least mentioned in the show at some point... I’m thinking the last episode when Geralt is injured and has a visitor from his past.

Were there incidents of ICE agents going to people’s homes in plain clothes, not identifying themselves, then shooting people in the face when they resist what appears to them to be an attempt at a home invasion/kidnapping? Because I don’t remember hearing about that sort of thing under Obama...

No original Terminator? Seriously... that is the chick-flickiest scifi action movie out there! The whole premise is a guy being so in love with a woman he never met, he opts to take on suicide mission to go protect her.
