@props_nyc: I think people probably just don't bother themselves with that distinction. I know I don't.

@Platypus Man: not to mention the phonetic error in the pronounciation - if she wanted to be called Kasha then why not simply spell it that way.

@Whitson Gordon: funny fact: in my neck of the woods hoodies are called "bunnyhugs".

@myrkron: Simple, use inverse gravity and a teleologically-permeable forcefield that allows you to remove desired items from the drawer at will while retaining unwanted items from being ejected when the drawer is open.

@David Levine: yeah that's a big issue with any expense tracking - but I think the benefit of clawing through the split transactions is to give you a full picture, something that eyeballing may or may not provide.

@Whitson Gordon: agree, I'd looked at Mint over a year ago and it didn't handle many canadian banks. I recently tried again after the LH post here announcing Canadian banks were onboard and it seems quite full-featured to me: auto categorizing, split transactions (though not auto but I don't see how that could be

@happyman: Still, its a lot easier and quicker than manually categorizing every item... no easy way around this problem (split transactions) for any tracking solution, but atleast the option to manully split it is there.

@Kevster: yes Mint now supports many Canadian banks. As for categorization you can tell Mint exactly how to categorize purchases from a specific vendor including renaming it to something useful (it works amazingly well for this).

@dimsum: I diligently tracked my expenses manually for an entire month in November... It was rewarding setting up a deadly accurate spreadsheet (complete with pivot tables and charts), and was easy to stay motivated at first but it turned out to be just way too much of a committment to stay on top of.

@Redshiftxi: note I did say we are more intellectually and socially "advanced" - I was going to use the word complex, but I was intentionally avoiding the word "better". I agree with you that the quality of interpersonal skills has probably also degraded, but considering we have the ability to control the

@WarpedCore: why would you change tires numerous times during the winter? If the temperature stays below 50 you're not going to cause excessive wear on your winter tires so just leave them on all winter.

@solracer: I hate when people spread misinformation such as telling others that snow tires perform better but at the cost of dry-road performance. I guess some have in mind the old chunky tractor tires of the 70's. I could care less if they are ignorant, but they should keep their mouth shut since they don't have a

@Quip Pro Yo: absolutely, in fact its dangerous to only put winter tires on the front - the lack of lateral grip at the rear wheels will cause the back end to slide around a lot - that may be fun for drifting in a slippery parking lot but on the highway under emergency braking/cornering it could (and often does) spell

@grzydj: yep, I used to buy new set of the cheapest all seasons every three years because they'd lose there winter bite after a couple years. I was too cheap to buy separate tires and was disposing of tires that still had a summer two left in the treads.

@AMC_CJ: People put on high flow exhaust for better performance, install custom chips for more HP, upgrade to xenon lights to see better, 4 wheel disc brakes to stop better etc. Why wouldn't you install winter tires to grip better in winter?

@Brock_Lee: ah, yes we need to cull the bald eagles, way too many of them all flying about, screaching and stuff. ;)

@ProudGeek: yeah, unless its like the the Legacy version where it seems your real-life fitness and motorcycle skills define your abilities on the grid.

Kinky. Reminds me of when I found my dad's porno stash and came across 1989 playboy centerfold Petra Verkaik who credits her large breasts with saving her life when they cushioned the blow of her VW bus falling on top of her.
