Six ravens in a trench coat

DS9 is my favorite Star Trek, and this is one of my favorite episodes. I wrote recaps and news coverage for a baseball blog years ago- after one game that was particularly terrible, I worked a summary of this episode into my recap of the game, because, well, it was more entertaining and at least somewhat on topic,

I mean, MLB has this shitty blackout thing where since I live in Las Vegas, despite not having a major league team here, I’m in the blackout zone for six teams, meaning that a full 20% of the league teams can’t be shown on the MLB TV streaming service... Despite the fact that only a couple of those teams are shown on

as well as a leader of the side that we’re supposed to be rooting against.

I’ll always be entertained that the X-Wing books basically had to manufacture an in-story reason why the Empire wasn’t throwing squadron after squadron of TIE Defenders at the New Republic.

And at least they didn’t eat the seeds.

I don’t think you get to maintain any moral high ground when you start out by bragging about having seen the original trilogy in theaters.

I mean, in the kindest way possible, that seems like a you problem.

Since the year is probably going to round out with Galactus showing up, I guess this is just foreshadowing.

Did we not pay enough when 600,000 Americans died to free slaves?”

It sounds rough, but it should be okay. I can’t imagine any situation where trying to digitally insert Henry Cavill’s face into the shot could ever go wroooooooo oh no.

That doesn’t make any sense, though, because from the perspective of Crystal Dynamics, it’s just a better business choice to say screw it and not spend money developing content for Spider-Man unless Sony is specifically paying them to do it for their console.

No, he does change Dave’s story- Klaus met him in the Army, and Dave signed up for the Marines in the new timeline.

I will fully admit that I didn’t like the ending when it aired, but as I got older, I... It’s one of my favorite endings of any series ever. It was a show that finished on a high note, it just reminded us that the song it sang wasn’t about triumph, it was about continuing to fight.

No, see, what you need to understand about the way Marvel handles time travel and changes to the time line is- oh my gosh, what’s that over there!

Eh, the genre is doing well in other formats, but paying $5 for a 32 page comic that you have to go to a specialty store for isn’t exactly a great customer service experience.

At least part of that has been by taking things into her own hands- her production company got a pre-release copy of the graphic novel Atomic Blonde was based on and she was heavily involved in getting it to screen.

The movie where Clark Kent watched his dad die in a tornado because his dad said not to reveal his superpowers- because Pa will risk his life for a dog, but doesn’t want Clark to risk his life for a dog and Pa- isn’t dark and dreary?

I mean, she’s probably up there with any action star over the past ten years, regardless of gender. I can’t think of many who have put up three movies I’ve enjoyed as much as those three.

Jesus christ, the debates between those two are going to be an absolute shitshow, aren’t they?

She’s entertained me enough in other movies she’s made that I saw this and thought, aw, okay, I’ll give Pirates of the Caribbean one more movie.
