Did she record this in a high school gym? That vocal has some of the worst acoustics I've ever heard. (Also, take a breath once in a while, might sing better.)

@BlackSheepRedShoes: Yes, I think so too.
@Sydera: Yes, except if you take into account that you pay for school whether you go or not, the marginal cost of skipping class is essentially zero.
So, in the past 6 years I have changed continents 5 times (back and forth obvi otherwise I'd run out of continents), cities 7 times and countries 4 times and have been in the resulting number of "first day" situations. A simple piece of advice that was shared with me and I would like to pass on to the ether:
@spacedcowgirl: Yeah, on a global level Mean Girls is obviously a pro-woman movie but I'm sure Tina Fey has a nasty side just like anybody else.
@spacedcowgirl: That would hold water if the character in Mean Girls wasn't the butt of the joke herself. It was mean-spirited in the movie too, there was no second layer (although there were many others throughout the movie of course).
This is a line from Mean Girls, movie written by Jezebel-hero Tina Fey. It was funny then and it's in funny now.
That is so weird. I saw him on 2nd Avenue on Saturday.
@normawilahmina: Okay cool. I think unless Jezebel is posting the original as well so we know exactly what is different and what is just "her" then calling her out on looking freaky is just... mean.
Am I the only one who finds this mean spirited? Comparing her to the Joker? Really?
@morninggloria: Ten points for Gryffindor.
@thetokenblack: Very good advice. If half of marriages fail, you'd have to be a fool to gamble against 1:2 odds.
That's crazy. A marriage needs to end if only one of the partners wants to - whether the other can accept it or not. It takes two to tango. I don't think this is a feminist issue at all but if it were the much more relevant (and pro-woman/pro-no fault) argument would be that women in NY are now free to leave abusive…
Michelle I love you but you're bringing me down.
Yeah, that one pretty girl playing the cello is so happy. That country is just brimming over with happiness.
@enduremp: In a word: yes.
@Lahjik: If you are interested in the history of colors, the French author Michel Pastoureau has dedicated his life to studying it. His book about the color blue is one of the most interesting things I've ever read. Title: "Blue".
My friend's boyfriend smokes a pack a day and his face is LITERALLY GRAY. No joke, born as a blond white kid, now 30 years old and gray-faced. It is terrible. I would dump him for that.
