I’ve been doing a lot of zoom interviews for my company over the past year, and I can honestly say that it’s unlikely anyone would even notice the headset. Our coworkers wear headsets, too. The big key to me, though, would be to make sure it’s a headset that has a stable mic. The worst is when people use wired earbuds…

Plus, some cars (usually European luxury ones, but Volkswagen’s Golf too) actually tuck the wipers slightly below their usual resting place when the engine is turned on, for better aerodynamics and to reduce air drag noise. When you turn off the engine, they come up slightly so that you can lift them if necessary.

People have been putting their wipers up, probably ever since shortly after motorized wipers were added to most cars in the snow-belt. In all that time, if the problems cited in the article were frequent, folks would have stopped doing it. I’ve never heard of them being broken by wind, having the rubber blown off or…

Yes and no... In a condo you have HOA fees which cover much of that upkeep for the general building elements (boiler and sewer and exterior repairs) but that gets factored into the bank’s mortgage qualification calculation when you purchase along with insurance and taxes.

I would argue that the HOA fees you probably have in that condo should count toward the maintenance because that’s where most HOA money goes.
