If my wife had asked me who I voted for and based our future on it, we probably wouldn’t have made it to date #2. (Admittedly, this was before the current two-party system really jumped the shark.) My politics moved strongly towards hers in the last 6 years. My point is - politics are important, but they’re not

On Android (and I think there is a similar function across iOS), just use Incognito. Then Google Chrome has a notification banner that you can click and all the incognito windows/tabs are gone. Poof!

Today I learned: I can be/have been/will be an envious person, but not a jealous person.

“you have to factor in the chance that someone else will also buy the same winning numbers”

Also, you can drip a small (think: a big drop or two, just enough to barely cover) amount of batter on top of the blueberry and then flip the pancake, and that will help your berries cook in the middle of the pancake, as opposed to being just on one side. It doesn’t change the taste, but it might improve the look.

Lotteries are legal in most states, but winning one is so unlikely, they’re effectively a tax on people who are bad at math.”

Learned how to ride a bike at 37. I’m still not very good at it, but I could probably get down an empty street if needed.

Duel fuel (gas stove, electric oven) appears to be by far the most common in the US, with high end kitchens starting to adopt induction.

How do you tell the difference between induction and what you’ve got?

I don’t think I’ve ever had a gas oven. Pretty sure those have always been electric, even if the ranges on top have always been gas. (Am I mistaken?)

So basically, electric stoves are worse in every way from a cooking perspective?

Welcome to the stock market too. This is why it’s better to be long stocks than short stocks.

Oooooh cool. Thanks!

Second, turn the temperature in your freezer and refrigerator down a few degrees to buy yourself a little more time for your perishable food.”

AERIE is a bird’s nest.

I’ve used AIERY as a starter with good success (exactly counter to the author’s tip).

This is 100% reasonable. I mean, Budweiser is a very excellent beer. As far as lagers go, it’s a top 3 choice. Anyone who tells you otherwise has not had a Budweiser in a very long time, and has attached negative (cultural?) feelings to it. They are not to be trusted.

“...those of us on iOS will still see reactions written out in group chats with Android users. To fix that now falls on Apple’s shoulders, so, in short, don’t hold your breath.”
