Hey, it’s a lot more tasteful than the “watch me make your panties disappear!” joke I had planned.

Girls, apparently, or at least more than half.

It was great, but it pretty much covered the entire book eexcept  the ending

Bad Roget’s Thesaurus use of the word “tonsorial” too. I mean, nominally It’s not wrong because it can be about all haircuts, but it really refers to shaving or shearing hair and beards. Not clipper-trimming bangs and/or cutting “fringe curtains.

I suspect the people who made this were fans of that guy with the hydraulic press on YouTube and thought they could somehow shoehorn that into an iPad commercial.

The whole thing is a real barrel o’ laughs, befitting an Emmy winner for Outstanding Comedy Series. (Yeah, yeah, the “Is The Bear funny?” debate is tired, sorry.)

I assume the fact that he’s turning into his former psycho head chef Joel McHale is not lost on him.

I did not take you wrong. I did not suggest you should reason with him or wait months to do something out of “concern” for your abuser. Nor did I bring up fake progressives to suggest that you are one.

That’s exactly how I intended it. Thank you.

I’m sorry what you went through, and am thankful it’s behind you, it sounds like it was harrowing. But I think you should reread that person’s response, I don’t think they “took you wrong” or took you to task at all, it was more a jumping off point to then share their thoughts and you took it personally and responded

The movie itself was fine but it would have been a hopeless task to replicate the scorching sexual tension between Pitt and Jolie (enough to break up Pitt and Anniston), so yeah this show was right to not even try.

What movie?

Movie? What movie?

Its probably sports cards but it'll be much funnier if it's Magic cards.

I finished Uncut Gems and I had two thoughts:

I lost it at Al’s reaction to Earn seeing a therapist. Hard laughter, followed by “you see how much money I make you? Hey Darius, I made him so rich he’s just giving money away!”

“The Homeliest Little Horse” is an immediate classic for me. Incredible ending.

Maybe it was better back then, but I am sad to inform everyone that Armand's pizza sucks.

Yeah, I rewound just to make sure I heard that right. At first I thought that was what caused Stan to mute the TV.

If that was intentional then the writers deserve a round of applause.
