This is the reasonable way. We could handle fancy when younger - a number of kids cannot. But fancy was still a rare treat (probably making it easier for us to understand the need for extra decorum). Know your kids and consider others.

As someone who has done some play testing for some games in the past, those hour estimate are always guess work. There are far to many factors at play to give truly accurate time estimates in most cases. Even games that have actual built in timers have to account for setup which can be a pretty big variable.
