I've always resisted uploading the dashcam videos of my parking lot shenanigans. You are causing me to reconsider.

Fixed. From the sound of it, he had more power than traction.

I'd like to see a source on that. The NSX was barely faster than the old C5 in a '97 Motortrend shootout (.2 sec on Las Vegas Motor Speedway). No way it would beat the C6.

Wasn't the proposition of retiring the A-10 centered around the argument that the F-35 could handle the CAS role? So much for that idea.

EDIT:

Hell, that should BE the currency.

How are the reliability on those air conditioned seats? I feel like that could potentially be a very expensive repair item, or a hazard if the refrigerant were to leak inside the car.

How do you like the Pioneer Nav? I decided to pass on the shitty Subaru nav system with the intention of getting an aftermarket one eventually.

If you live in a northern state and intend to use it for daily driving, I don't recommend it. As far as I recall, the base WRX doesn't come with the cold weather package, which is standard on every other trim.

Granted, it was a publicity stunt, but wouldn't it have been so much easier to just winch it across?

There's some debate about the proper way to break in a new engine and 'seat' the rings.

How about turning down the hostility a couple of notches and quit belittling people who have done nothing to you.

You have your preference, he has his. No need to be a dick about it.

My understanding is that issues with the chinese low-bypass engines isn't as much a function of design as it is manufacturing. You can steal all the designs you want, but you can't replicate 60+ years of manufacturing expertise from a set of blueprints.

The only dig against them was that is was a front-biased system. In their version of the Haldex-type system, from what I remember, normally 100% of torque went to the front wheels, but up to 50% could be sent to the rear if the fronts lost traction (basically when the center diff would fully 'lock').

Besides the US, what other countries have the observational capabilities to determine what's actually going on up there? I read somewhere that one of the reasons that the X-37B was freaking other countries out was that they couldn't tell what it was actually doing up there.

Back in 2011, I read an article about what an auto journalist would ask 6 auto execs, one of which was Mitsubishi.

Or a lightly used one, for that matter. For some reason, they hold their value exceptionally well for a performance vehicle.
