Based on what?

I'll do you one better:

Imagine 9 of those puppies on a single ship.

Yep. BAE's version.

Very likely. The fit and finish in my buddy's GTI was always something I was envious of, and that was 2 generations ago.

Good call. With winter tires, of course.

Their blue really is a fantastic color. I almost regret not getting it on my STI hatch, but I really fell in love with the pearl white.

Strike Laser Claw!!!!

Of the 3 big Subaru dealerships near me (New England, lol), none have any BRZ's on the lot. So either they're selling them as fast as they're getting them in, or they're not getting any in. My guess is the former.

Now playing

Reminds me of the Megafactories episode about the Tesla Factory. It's worth a watch.

You know, now that you mention it, you could be right. I had assumed it was an uncontrolled intersection because I'm not used to looking for traffic lights over there. So he may have had the arrow.

If in doubt, wait! There was no one behind the truck, and therefore absolutely no reason to try and turn ahead of it.

What's your opinion on OEM rotors and pads vs. aftermarket? While I'm a little more flexible on the pad material, I think I would have a hard time convincing myself to buy non-oem rotors. I know there are quality aftermarket rotors out there (DBA, Hawk, Powerslot, etc), but there is a lot of crap as well.

Not understanding and not believing without evidence isn't the same thing. Statistical analysis is one of my job responsibilities, though I'm sure there are many who are much better at it than I.

They were far more than just a simple "get on the road and speed like punks" group. Their cars were the fastest and most reliable cars in the world at the time, and they spent ludicrous amounts of money to achieve their goals.

Agreed. The Porsche 911's (along with the Chevy Corvette) are practically the definition of 'sports car'. If your definition doesn't include both, your definition sucks.

Noooooooooooo! The poor STI hatch. /sad

I would probably disagree with that categorization. The AWD on a Audi R8 should not disqualify it from being considered a sports car, when a very similar car (Ferrari 458, for example) with a very similar purpose is simply because only the rear wheels are driven.
