I know I’ll get flak for this, but the guy actually sounds like a cheap lease candidate. Something with minimal money down, low miles and even lower payments. Keeps the cash in his pockets for now and in three years grad school will be over and he can go in and get something nicer. Just my two cents.
I think the wrangler is more of the “offroad” cousin. Besides, the wrangler pickup is definitely going to be more expensive than the standard mid-size pickup truck.
