That’s why I like the Kia/Hyundai 5 year bumper-to-bumper warranty. You can have a low monthly payment and a car that’s covered under warranty during the duration of the loan.

I’m gonna guess most people who apply for an 84 month loan is getting a prime rate APR.

Which model did you get, if I may ask?

Besides, Mr. Moneybags, Jr. is already driving a BMW 3 series to school. What would the folks at the Country Club say if your kid drove to school in a peasant Chevrolet? *loses monocle*

To be fair, you’re asking a lot from a 1.5L NA engine. I had a Mazda 2 that was a good car for south florida, but it was awful in highways. Fuel economy was garbage since the engine had to work pretty hard for >60MPH speeds

Had a Focus as a rental once. the gearbox was fine during highway driving (no different than the standard automatic). For parking lot/traffic light/morning commute traffic? Fuck no, It was like being in a manual car with a learner driving.

I understand DSGs for sporty driving (on a high performance car). I’d still take a standard torque converter automatic 99% of the time. I don’t understand the trend of adding DSGs in cheap cars.

flipped over SUV on your lawn? $300 fine!

Fair point. I’d still buy a one owner car with a clean Carfax and service records though.

This is the reason you NEVER buy any used rental car. Those poor cars have been subject to real abuse.

Can i ONLY get the engine upgrades? The platinum trim with this engine will be an awesome sleeper

Somebody would probably sue automakers if they confuse the paddle shifter because “my other car is backwards”

You might be kind of an asshole.

Why would you do that to yourself?

The problem is your kid can be driving perfecly, following the rules, and a douchebro with a lifted pickup truck , snapchatting while driving can kill your kid by running a red light.

This would be a good solution IMO. The hybrid system would work at low speeds/stop and go traffic (it’s not likely you’ll notice or complaint about the fact only the front wheels are providing power in that scenario) and you can power the rear wheels for “normal” driving, with the full AWD system active only when

Hypothetical situation

“I wanted a BMW 7 series but got a Jetta instead”

I’d pay to see an autonomous car dealing with pedestrians, cyclists, uber drivers, cabs, delivery trucks and running all the yellow lights it can while driving on Lexington at 9 a.m.

Exactly, if I wanted an underpaid employee that’s being screwed by his employer to take me somewhere, I’d just call an Uber.
