weird! maybe you are allergic to one of the ingredients?

seriously. let's get some scientists on this, stat.

Everybody says it's the antiperspirant in deodorant giving people cancer and hey, it probably is. But I cannot give it up. All natural stuff might make you smell nice but it does not stop the sweating!! And I'm on my feet 9 hours a day next to several huge ovens. Gonna have to risk the cancer.

Do all BB&Bs have this? I have somehow never noticed it. I guess my response to the "too much stuff everywhere" is tunnel vision?

I don't know if anyone's watched House Hunters International but you see people in Hong Kong and Singapore laying down unbelievable amounts of cash for a shoebox of a place because space is at such a premium, even rich people are packed in like sardines. It blew my mind. I should have considered how bad it would be

Indeed! I don't know how to emote waving cat. =^w^=/

I think we have to agree to disagree on this point. I think you're absolutely right that in Drogo's mind yes once means yes always, and he wasn't too aware (or concerned) with her particular feelings at the time, but just because spousal rape wasn't illegal til the 70s or whatever doesn't mean it didn't happen... I

I think it's kind of cool that she - as someone who has been bought and sold and abused and left all alone in her young life, claims the power in that - which is not just an abstract concept, btw, what with her not getting burned and stuff. And that she tries to use that power for absolute good. It's just... she's

To me it seemed like it wasn't just that she didn't enjoy it, but she didn't want it to happen. She was covered with saddle sores and in agony when they had sex. It said that she was miserable, not that she wanted it but it wasn't quite working right. Nothing about the way it was written suggested willing

I honestly forgot how they did it in the show, but I was unsure at the time what age they intended her to be... clearly the actress does not look 13, but the whole thing is just squicky. Her consenting is preferable to her being raped, but still... And if I remember correctly, in the book, while their first encounter

I think it's really funny that he is like 22, I thought he was the one kid who actually looked his intended age (13ish) and then they said they aged him up to 17 in the show.

Sansa gets such a bad rap and I hate it because I find her a very sympathetic character. She's a young girl just trying to do what she thinks is best, based on everything she thinks she knows to be true, to save her family and it goes horribly wrong. People who hate on her do not give a single thought to the

So true!!

it took me like 5 tries to get through A Clash of Kings but I read A Storm of Swords in like 2 days, only stopping periodically to rave about it to anyone who came near me.

I keep seeing that guy everywhere. He was in one of my favorite episodes of Doctor Who. I feel like Dany is a lot less whiny in the books, though. And I mean... she's 14 (yeah, really) and going through some serious shit.

If you liked her in season 1 and got annoyed with her in season 2, you should love her again - however briefly - in season 3. In book 2 she just kinda did a lot of nothing and they fleshed that out in the series with her being whiny and beggy a lot more. I didn't like her either at that point.

I actually watched some of the first season of this show just cause it was on after something else I watched, and found it surprisingly decent - I think cause I really just love the cast, even though I was not interested in the premise. But I don't have cable anymore so I have no idea how it held up over time.

From your mouth to GRRM's ear! I loved her so much in book 1 and finally in a Storm of Swords I was like YES finally some action and satisfaction for her!!! and then.. oh, nope, some more sitting around being frustrated and not getting anything done.

It was a pretty nonspecific spoiler. And you should at least read A Storm of Swords!!! It is the best one by far!

I always thought the Greek yogurts were advertised pretty gender neutrally, unlike Yoplait.
