THE VILLAGE IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME!

Well my husband is Indian and I'm a super pale European mutt so we have no coloring in common, we are both very tall and a bit doughy with round cheeks... should I be weirded out now? :[

I love the Silmarillion with all my heart but even besides the issues over rights, I don't see how it could be a movie. It would be like making a movie of all the stories of gods and heroes in the entirety of Greek mythology. But a really high-budget super pretty TV series... oh, that would be amazing.

Yeah I found myself explaining to a coworker the next day how Peeta is a totally self-sacrificing, eloquent, basically amazing dude because she saw the movie and got the impression he was an asshole wimp. wah. :(
