If he’s guilty, he should be brought to justice, but do remember our legal system, at least assuming you’re in the States, is the “innocent until proven guilty” model. Irrespective of the crime. I understand assault is emotionally charged, but at the core of it, you cannot fault people for not immediately “convicting”

I will clarify that if Kimi is guilty, the legal process should most definitely take its course and he should be brought to justice. I’m just stating that the way the events transpired in this instance are hardly cut and dry, and should be taken with a grain of salt. I hope the legal system completes the investigation

Statistics may agree, but can you truly look at this story and say that nothing is fishy? 1) It’s textbook extortion as RevengencerAlf points out. 2) Why wait two years, and then pursue an unofficial civil settlement under the table? I accept that the alleged event could’ve traumatized her, but waiting two years to

Jenson Button for days!! Affable guy, camera loves him, proper gearhead, adored by the British public, and dude can seriously drive.

But you’re assessment of “shut up and go build the cars” makes it sound like Tesla has a choice between “media-war” and building cars and chose the former. You realize PR and engineering/production are completely independent units right? It’s not like they’re like “as long as we give the media a good wallop, we can

Worst part is it goes both ways, but they won’t admit it. You mention brietbart as the conservative side, but sites like Vice are equally biased the other way. Except neither side is willing to accept that what they are reading isn’t actually news, it’s just a smidgen of truth spun up into a story promoting the

Exactly, the biggest indicator that Felton has a personal grudge with tesla is that any article that concedes even a little but of positivity towards Tesla is authored by someone else. Maybe the dude’s job is to dig up as much dirt as he can on Tesla, but they have to stop pretending that it is reporting and accept

Exactly. The whole like/dislike Musk and Tesla has devolved into the same sort of irrationality that has led to such a divisive and opinionated media as a whole. I find it difficult to believe that, as mainstream media would lead you to believe, there is nothing positive worth reporting about on Tesl. Musk ain’t wrong

Uh huh, nothing even close to that level of magnitude hasn’t occurred, so a hypothetical response to this occurrence is irrelevant

Yet again, elitist liberals making assumptions that the opposition is just stupid and not worth talking to. I have no issue with liberal ideologies and politics (even agree with many of their stances). But some of y’all are just assholes...

I could say the same of atheists. And liberals. And conservatives. And Muslims. And white people. And black. And literally EVERY DAMN GROUP OF PEOPLE.

Its been pretty comfortable flat for 3 or 4 years now... Definitely last year, and will be this year, owing to the high downforce regs.

Whatever it is, when you start something new, you don’t foresee all the possible problems.. If you knew everything that could go wrong, then nothing should ever go wrong because you will have known about it..

I mean, its the second season they’ve been there.. So while it was unintentional, I don’t think its an unwanted loophole like the shark fins or T wings from last year.

I disagree with this. Yes last year’s Russian GP was boring. But you know what would be silly? Cars just passing and repassing each other for a whole race. If they do this, they should get rid of DRS. It should not be easy to pass. Drivers should have to properly work for it. Band-aid fixes in the meantime are not a

I’m not talking overall pecking order. I’m talking about the ability of two cars of similar performance to race each other. If you watch F1 now, they can barely stay within 1s of the car ahead. In 2014, high torque+low grip meant driver skill mattered more, especially on corner exit.

Are you being sarcastic? Becuase this is somewhat of a myth. If you increase grip a lot, then the skill required to apply just the right amount of power is reduced since that value would be closer to 100%.

Yeah, Tesla coverage is pretty analogous to the wider media world. Both sides, for and against, wear blinders and only see what they want to see.

A semi-positive Tesla article? I didnt think that was allowed here!

True. But she definitely has talent if she can beat the lap time by a decent margin, seeing as she’s only 11/12. We don’t know if it was ballasted or not.
