I used it a few times accidentally when I first got the system, but later updates helped prevent that from happening. I’ve never seen the need to bother with it.

Bitter are we? Understandable. Lots of people lamented the Lego movie snub a few years ago.

That’s gotta be a painful read. You know, like that movie Dunning v Kruger. (I think that’s what that is. I never saw it but I know enough I’m sure.)

Wheeler...

How is Terra not even on the list?

I’m not surprised they still don’t know what caused it. They moved on to other projects after DK64 and had no real need to patch it (being both before consoles generally gained the ability to get patched and also seeing no major game breaking bugs that needed addressing). Now, as the expansion pak did come with the

Um, no.

You can still give the entirety of it to some lucky homeless person, instantly spending it even if you have an unbounded set of cash.

The real question is, did they add Obama and Trump to the lineup, and maybe some modern celebrities besides? NBA Jam is kinda known for the rather ridiculous roster.

Give the entirety of it to the nearest vagrant. There, you’ve spent it all within seconds.

I believe the organization’s reasoning is that using their symbol for health packs in games like that just further encourages violence and associates the red cross with war rather than peace. Technically this goes WAY back. I think they first let their objections be known when Doom was released (current rereleases

Here’s my entirely selfish reason for not wanting either MS or Sony to be the ones to buy the IPs from them: Smash Bros.

I can get behind that. The only issue there is Nintendo would be directly competing with themselves, what with the Switch coming out and their old games being a draw. (That’s a whole other matter. They need to get their emulation code set up to be easily portable so their emulated games all work right out of the

I honestly think Nintendo should consider buying up the Hudsonsoft IPs from Konami. Konami is just sitting on them, with not even a Bomberman gambling machine to show for it. It could work, unless Konami is far too obstinate to even consider losing anything for any reason.

I’m not sure what difference that makes. They still can’t actually publicly support ROM downloading by purposefully programming a way to add in user’s own ROMs to the system. There is no way they would be able to do that. What’s the argument here? ROMs exist, therefor Nintendo must let us use them?

Most of those new ideas are pretty interesting, but a few are real head scratchers. What’s with the 5 or so smily faces? They remind me of this poster of “smilies” I had back in the 90's with everything from a hippie smily to a borg smily. At least the Mr. Monopoly smily highly resembles the original character

They only ever intended this to be a small toy, more or less. It was never intended to compete directly with their virtual console store. As such, they never put in store functionality.

Studio Ghibli are one of the few anime studios that aren’t churning out recycled garbage aimed at shutins these days, so I’m excited to see if they can keep up the quality without their two biggest names from the past. Either their loss will open them up to exploring new story ideas, or they’ll resort to remaking all

I don’t watch most anime these days. This is just one reason why. Outside of this, most anime today is badly written copy pasted trash. Sometimes I’ll get pulled in by a solid high concept premise, then I found out I just watched Sword Art Online. The whole anime industry seems to have become this ridiculous

That’s a real shame that, but if it’s been downloaded as a file, there’s nothing preventing someone with root access from finding said file and storing it somewhere else the netflix program can’t touch.
