I doubt they'd limit themselves to 15k rpm with the new engines if the rules didn't say so...

They sound OK, but with the rev limiters, they end up being... quite dull. You feel the limit imposed by the rules and not by physics killing the sound.

I live in a place where driving standards are far from good.

The problem with all this technology that automatically turns on or off stuff is the lazyness of people that made manufacturers create such things.

I also find it boring.
