not sure what you’re on about

well it seems people like that bridge and they said they’d never take it appart so none of your examples fit this story.

would you dismantle and reconstruct the Eiffel tower because a welthy individual needs it? would you dismantle and reconstruct the Statue of Liberty?

Is it a bummer? yeah. But that’s it. It’s not a “ban on OUR freedom to use custom liveries!!!111", it’s understandable that they want to show the car like it is. Those are the brands that support the team, including the decision to put the car in a simulator for all subscriptors to drive. They surely had to ask

The explosion that ocurred in Beirut last year had a similar root cause. A ship carring the ammonium nitrate stayed in Beirut’s port for a long time with the crew forced to live in it for more than a year. They eventually were “released” because of the dangerous cargo.

It’s highly possible that those O-rings were built using the religious equivalent of slave labor”

I guess manufacturers find the cost of designing a whole new set of car controls is nothing in comparision with the marketing benefit of looking trendy and appealing a certain kind of people. Because it surely isn’t cheap to go around re-inventing the wheel every few years...

If you gave away 99% of it, you’d still have 1.85 billions.

thank you for that clip! I’d never seen it

I’m not greedy. As long as I’ve got my health, my millions of dollars, my gold house, and my rocket car, I don’t need anything else.

Never considered it, I wanted the console and controller. I bought the console with 2 controllers, GT3 and GT4 (plus a bunch of random games the seller wanted to get rid off) for 25 bucks.

I think GT4 was the last game to properly include cars that no one really cared about. I mean, how many games have dozens of lame ass Civics (not Type Rs), weird kei cars, wrong versions of hot hatches or sport cars? GT5 and GT6 had them but they were re-rendered versions of those in GT4. The number of cars is really

The first game to include the Nords was Grand Prix Legends, I believe, which came out almost 10 years before GT4. That said it was a niche game, one for hardcore enthusiasts, so GT4 made it mainstream.

I don’t understand why electric cars, after all these years, still have to be styled in a certain way. Those bright blue accents. The letter “i” before the name...

The main problem with these “redesigns” is that, like it or not, more than 30 years have passed since that car was built, so obviously there are a lot of modern touches you’d not even have considered back then that pop to mind and feel like good ideas.

I’ve always been into cars, so if I had to chose one of the earliest memories of me drooling over a car, I think it’d have to be the Mach 5.

I don’t understand this colour at all. There are a lot of people buying cars that look like they are next in line to get the top coat at the factory, but they were sold after primer.

this makes no sense. You could afford a 280 Z which probably wasn’t a cheap shitbox back then, yet you ran out of funds after a week? and you never, ever, recovered? and instead of rebuilding the car and selling it you left it there for 44 years?

I’d like to know how many people got involved in the decision to just drop the box... and how much Rolls paid them to do that...

hundreds and hundreds of highly paid footballers... they also buy 2 or 3 in their lifetimes because they keep crashing them.
