I can vouch for that GreenWorks snow blower. I have the same model. Nice and quiet so I don't have to wear ear plugs and it did a fine job handling mid-Atlantic snow. My only complaint is that the base is a little narrow so you have to make a couple extra passes on the driveway.

I think you missed the part where Tyler mentioned the lack of a carrier there is a massive controversy right now. For the better part of three decades we’ve maintained a consistent carrier presence in the gulf to dissuade Iran or anyone else from getting uppity.

There’s always an element of “sending a message” when a ballistic missile is tested. As Tyler mentioned it’s an affirmation of our capabilities and a warning to any potential enemies that we are capable of putting overwhelming firepower anywhere we want anytime we want.

The comments section on the Gawker article hurt my brain. “OMG WHY ARE THEY FIRING THIS OVER A POPULATED AREA?!?” - a thing actually said. Never mind that the test range is 50 miles off the coast and they fired it west into the open ocean.

You are absolutely correct, I do not own an EV yet. However I think it’s a bit naive (and frankly dumb) for people to just expect the public domain or their employer to provide for it. It’s a great perk though and certainly encourages adaptation.

Like I said, the chance of a military action against Taiwan is zero. Feel free to put your money where your mouth is though, I'll take that bet every day.
