Where did say being “different is bad?” Where did I say that the eroding of mental health “always” leads to violence? Where did these words come from?

In some cases internalized homophobia is scarier than the external conditions that gays face. Internalized homophobia wears down mental health and can lead to violent actions. He was a prisoner within his own mind. His situation is not surprising at all.
Definitely the best of the season and far better than last weeks garbage. I’d give this episode an A- and last week a D+. I usually agree with AV Club but with SNL I feel like we must not be watching the same show. It seems opposite.
I’m so damn happy that NBC sitcom Thursdays are back in full force - not a stinker among the bunch (although AP Bio started a lil slow, it’s pretty fun). With Atlanta and RPDR airing on Thursdays, too, it’s hands-down my favorite day of the week at this point.

Yeah. I agree with the folks above calling for a tie after 10-12 innings in the minors. They do it in spring training and it’s fine. No one gives a shit about wins and losses in the minors.
Harvey Haddix threw 12 perfect innings in a 1959 game, and then lost it in the 13th.
If minor league game outcomes are meaningless, why not just call it a tie after 9? I’m not trying to be flippant, I’m genuinely curious.

It would seem to mean that you could pitch a perfect game and still lose. Runner on second, advances to third and home via fly ball outs, third out recorded, boom, you lose a perfect game 1-0.

Someone should revise the passengers’ restraining harnesses of those helicopters: it’s inconceivable that a normal, capable person may not able to fastly release them in case of an accident.
