That is very interesting! I had never read that Garrett was offended by that comment.

Outstanding!

Without showing any disrespect to Tim Meadows, whom I like a lot, and who was a great longtime cast member, I will say that his absence from that piece didn’t bother me.

Obviously Garrett came first, being the only black cast member in the original ensemble.

I wish the onstage  gathering during the opening monologue had included Garrett Morris.

I rather think not. The reviews make it sound like an almighty slog — and I mean the good reviews.

No one should be concerned about deep fakes, because the technology comes with its own safety valve. People will quickly grasp that the video they have just seen of a famous person doing somethin embarrassing or scandalous is not real. So the only thing that deep fakes will be used for is entertainment.

To think that Miller would refuse to participate in the finale is not plausible because someone whose career is tanking (especially as a result of his own misconduct) is not going to reject an offer of high-profile work, if such an offer were to be made.

You make a valid point in suggesting that the decision not to include Miller might have come not from Berg but from HBO.

Miller has only himself to blame for his being fired from the show. Still, his talent is enormous, and his performances were always outstanding.

Not bringing in T.J. Miller at the end was a big mistake. Erlich was such a brilliant character who was a huge part of the show’s greatness; it never fully recovered from his departure.

The sympathy is misplaced. If the worst segment of society hadn’t co-opted the term “snowflake”, then this term would be the one for Davidson.

If you want to perform in public, then you have to accept critique in public. That’s the deal. There are no exceptions.

Oh, man.  If only!  The show is excellent; but it really misses Erlich (even if some in the cast do not miss T.J. Miller).

That can also be said at “the period when MadTV was better than Saturday Night Live”.

Josh Meyers was hilarious as the too-cheerful Dutchman named Geert.

Wrong on so many levels.

I think the "Mr. and Mrs. Hontas" line alone justified that sketch. But the line should have been saved for later in the sketch.

That’s for sure. I wonder if we’ll get an examination of the upcoming struggle between Holden and Jared.

Holden has shown that he can do the job of being Richard’s protector. (I still want to know what he said/did to Ethan!) But whether Holden can fulfill Jared’s role as consigliere and conscience is something that I

I suppose that you’re right about Jared’s attitude towards Gwart at the end of their relationship. But at the beginning, he was emotionally involved; he wasn’t faking it when he started shooting at Richard.

I don’t know about that. Recall Jared’s rage against Richard when Richard insulted Gwart. So I think he really had feelings for her.

I am not clear on what exactly Holden did to Ethan.
