Hold up. You believe them when they say he isn’t being tested? Where have you been the last 3 years?

Now it’s just March Calmness.

Unfortunately that was 2 years ago...we’re at 100 seconds these days.

I loved that the “as part of a balanced breakfast” included a whole breakfast in addition to the cereal. So there’d be a bowl of whatever sugar-crap you’re actually eating, plus a grapefruit, an apple, a glass of orange juice, and some nuts, or something.

THIS!!! You’ll get (unofficially or unintentionally shamed) for taking a lot of PTO or branded not a team player. Those who don’t take much PTO will get a thumbs up while those who use a lot of PTO will be looked down upon. When you get a set amount of PTO, those who don’t use it are viewed as foolish for not using it

I’ll feast on bales of hay before I eat the bark and pine cone bits scraped off the forest floor, put in a box and marketed as Grape Nuts. It’s nature’s version of gravel.

BONG

The one silver lining of Warren leaving was to see all of the mentions of the “last female candidate in the race.” lol

I wish people would stop making this argument about the Flu and other illnesses. Millions of young Americans have chronic underlying health conditions, and Coronavirus IS terrifying for them. Don’t be afraid of contracting coronavirus, be afraid of spreading coronavirus. For every 20 year old who says “it’s ok, i’ll

I remember a few weeks ago, NPR’s Morning Edition was interviewing someone with the WHO and they kept hounding them. “Why haven’t you declared it a pandemic? Isn’t it a pandemic? With so many infections across so many countries, that HAS to count as a pandemic!”

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris apparently waited to endorse Biden until there were no more women left in the race.

I thought it was always burning since the world’s been turning. Either that or Ryan.

And while this sounds reasonable - nobody eats a “serving” of cereal, which I think is just a half cup, by volume.

That milk was the best part.

“Unlimited PTO” is just a cost-saving move for a company. Instead of having to pay out unused PTO any time someone leaves, they never pay anything out. And employees often take less PTO than if they’d “earned” it thanks to pressure or constant deadlines.

I too had my wisdom teeth taken out in my 20s. For some reason we did it in a hospital. I was put on a gurney and the oral surgeon inserted the sodium pentathol. “Now I want you to count back from 100 by 3's.” “100...97...94...I love you!” and then I conked out.

Well, your hands are dirty! Your junk is not!

And since it doesn’t accrue like normal PTO, you won’t get paid out for it if you leave your job.

Why the fuck did I read this? I want to vomit.

It doesn’t. Workplaces with “unlimited” PTO tend to have employees use less of it than workplaces with set amounts
