Whew, that’s a relief. After reading all the trailer breakdown comments yesterday, I was starting to worry that Forest Moon of Endor might need to be renamed Forest Moon of Endor, Now with Ocean!

The 80's were strange. There was an entire cable channel devoted to nothing but movie trailers. One could stay up all night long during summer break eating junk food and watching the Weird Science trailer over and over...

Not that I’d know anything about that.

I didn’t have broadband when the trailer for The Phantom Menace came out, so I started the download when I left for work that morning so that I could watch it in high def when I got home.

Great books, with great source material potential.

First Blood is such a weird yet accurate snapshot of a culture that seems like Bizarro World now. You young folks may have difficulty believing this, but there really was a time when the large majority of people looked down on the military. 

I’m reading these now for the first time, and god damn. These are considered YA books? Because uhh this shit is intense. And I already know to hate that damn monkey.

Yeah, this has a distinctly non-consensual feel to it. She is literally there as a requirement of her job. Kudos to her (i guess?) for being a good sport about it but it feels real yucky to watch the video of enormous men wearing face covering goggles drenching a single, totally unprotected woman with alcohol.

It’s absolutely degrading behavior. Teenager mob mentality.

Kinda feels like they’ve never seen a woman before.
