To be fair, if you own a PS3, you can play Demon’s Soul.

Exactly. There’s like 1 “true” exclusive at this point, Demon Souls remaster. Everything else is on the PS4 or PC. So there’s no real rush. No killer app.

What roster of exclusives? The only one that isn’t on PC or PS4 is Demon Soul’s. The rest are ports. And most people who own a Ps4 that are a “gaming enthusiast” already own all or most of the games in the PS+ collection (and most of those have been given away for free at one point or another.”
    No one is telling you

They’re talking about avoiding anything that would cause controversy about a character or franchise that might damage it, or releasing anything of such low quality it might damage it. Or even, you know, the problem of giving Mario and Luigi a last name again.

Usually stands for a combination of the hardware and software.

Think that might just be where you live. I’m in the Seattle area and that stuff is on the shelf in bulk. Only thing that really keeps running out in generic diet sodas in cans.

How the Series X compares to the Series X huh?

Meanwhile, your entire argument is based on what you assume happens on April 1, 2021. Point is, neither of us know.

Would you have rather they just said “$40 each” right up front and decided to not make a discounted package? I’m sure they could have done something like that if they’d wanted to. Saying it’s an anti-consumer justification is like saying it’s anti-consumer for a product to stop being on sale. There’s nothing

Yes, but the “anniversary” ends on March 31, 2021. So it makes sense if they stop selling the package of 3 games, and break them up into al la carte.

The “anniversary” ends on March 31, 2021 to Nintendo. So it makes sense.

Because you’re assuming all the games will disappear. They never said that, they said the COLLECTION will. I suspect we’ll see the games released individually after the end date for a price higher for all 3 than the collection would cost. Every game in the Mario All Stars collection has been released individually

The original Mario All Stars game was a limited release.

Fun fact, CONGRESS questioned why 30% is the standard at the hearing and Cook had no good answer. As Congress correctly pointed out, if there was competition, then the standard would change as time went on, specifically go down. Apple couldn’t answer why their cut has remained at 30% for over 15 years.
    And we only

There was no other scenario. No small developer was going to have the money to fight Apple on this. It was going to take a big company, and that’s what happened.

Which would, in turn, be seen as directly ignoring the judge’s order and doing so in retaliation for the lawsuit. That would result in an even worse day for Apple, to the point where the judge could order them to shut down the entire app store until they restore the developer account.

    Questions then become
    A. Was the service agreement legally enforcable?
    B. Was the service agreement written in such a way that it could be seen as an anti-consumer measure designed to favor a single company with more money?

Not the point. Point is you don’t have to give that entire 30% to one company.

The difference is the consoles have outside competition within their own ecosystem. You don’t HAVE to buy the digital code from Sony or Microsoft or Nintendo, I can buy them from a third party, and those consoles take a much smaller cut when that happens(if any at all). Not only that, there’s physical versions I
