I feel your pain. I'm a nurse and my hands get destroyed from all the washing and sanitizer (and gloves). The best thing I've found is a lotion recommended by our wound care nurse. It's made by a company called Medline, and it contains silicone to protect the skin. It's also not greasy!

I bought a Braun Silk-Epil in August 2001, and it's still going strong.

Genuinely inquisitive. They asked about country music, guns, food, how much and what we drink, horses, pickup trucks, trains, health care, wildlife. Oh, and football (American football). One girl I met was a teenager, and she was fascinated that I eloped in Las Vegas, "like in movies!"

Wow, lots of Texans! I'm a lifelong Austinite. I was in Sydney recently, and folks there had SO many questions about America in general and Texas specifically. It's kind of funny.

RN here. It adds up just fine. Antibiotic allergies can be quite serious, so it makes sense for them to keep her. (Especially since she's a high profile patient.) They're also likely still dealing with her original infection. Respiratory treatments are given to a lot of patients. She's probably getting nebulizer…
