Sure. Anything that puts the burden on the difficult customer for being difficult, and on the airline for choosing to accommodate it, rather than on the rest of the passengers on the plane.

Well, it sounds like customers with these issues make up a significant part of the customer base, so I can see from a business standpoint why they don’t. If they want to accommodate extreme religious views, they need to find a way to do it without offending or displacing the rest of their customers.
