I think if you try to do an OTA update, it takes a while. If you just download the ipsw (That's what I did) from a website hosting the file, it works fine.

Yeah, I somewhat feel the same, I'm just glad they FINALLY changed iOS! This beta pleased me enough to stay with my iPhone 5. I was tempted to switch to a nexus device.
