As a fellow fat feminist, one who really struggles with accepting and caring for my body as it is, please accept this enormous thank you for this badass post. I will be rereading it often as I try to make peace with myself as I am. Seriously...thank you.
Fuck you, McGinty.
Hey friends! I’m looking for tips and resources on body positivity and/or reaching a healthier weight. I’ve been trying to practice intuitive eating (and have no interest in dieting) but am also really unhappy with my current weight. Would love to hear your suggestions and recommendations!
Seriously with the rain. Every day is a bit goddamn much.
Totally agree.
This is some serious bullshit. No one is ever allowed to steal someone else’s joy like that. So sorry, friend :/
Yes
Does anyone else struggle with it feeling like Christmas Eve rather than, say, just Thursday? I’ve got the decorations, the lights, the music, the works and yet, while it is indeed cozy and nice, it doesn’t feel like “Christmas.” Maybe this is just the cost of growing up?
Boo...that stinks. Sending internet wishes for a better eve...
Congrats, friend! :)
Happy Christmas Eve to all who celebrate it! Hope it includes twinkle lights and hot cocoa (with or without the peppermint schnapps). :)
Inviting Bobby Jindal to join his ticket, then changing their campaign slogan to “It’s Ben and Bobby!”
It really is the worst. And yet I adore it. What’s wrong with me?
For my 17th birthday in October 1992, my boyfriend got me the lava lamp I wanted (score!), a pair of mittens (ok?), and a pack of pink razors (um). He thought the latter was hilarious because I hated to shave my legs. Yes, funny...very funny.
“It’s a terrifyingly violent world after all...”
Jesus Henrietta Christ...find some other way to get attention, people. Preferably in a way that doesn’t fuck up other people’s days.
That’s true that it doesn’t affect me, which is why I don’t seek to do anything about it (I’m not lobbying my representatives or marching in rallies, unlike what I’ve done for PP). Just bothers me personally.
I totally dig this. Choosing the one you like best > defaulting to the husband’s name. Love the approach you guys took!
