I don’t think Cardi’s music is any good. As a matter of fact, I consider it trash. But Cardi as a person? Her determination is hard as nails and all I can do is respect her. I appreciate quite a number of things she says in general - from her surprisingly pointed views on politics to her appreciation of being an Afro-L

“This morning, during a live broadcast of The Wendy Williams Show, FOX 5 experienced technical difficulties which triggered an interruption of the program. The issue has been addressed and resolved. The program will be rebroadcast tomorrow morning from 3am-4am.”

Where’s the lie?

They aren’t the kind of schools you would expect the elite to buy their way into.

Author called USC a “so-so” college. That’s hardly disparaging. I heard a USC professor over a decade ago say the letters stood for “University of Spoiled Children.” That old joke might have been disparaging, but it sounds lately to be very accurate.

TRESemmé? Oh, Olivia, sweetie. If you’re going to be a top-tier beauty icon you’ve got to land better sponsors than a brand best known for keeping all their retail prices under $4.99.

USC is not a state school and it has a 17% admittance rate.

i never get pics like those. what’s cute about “whaBAM, lookit my pores!”

You lost me at “ranch dressing.” I knew these people were monsters but I didn’t know they were those kind of monsters.

I’m genuinely going to celebrate when both these malevolent self serving Koch fuckers eventually shuffle off their mortal coil.

But don’t they realize that a free pork chop recipe is a slippery slope?! What’s next?! Grandma’s secret chocolate chip cookie recipe printed for all to see? FREE HEALTHCARE?!

If they’re doing an A/B test, like they’re claiming, wouldn’t there need to be some way to test the engagement with the ad? How do you measure whether one mailer worked better than another?

“The recipe, which calls for baking pork chops with broccoli or beans, potatoes, Worcester sauce, ranch dressing mix, and honey...”

Wow.  AFP doesn’t get that I could be cool with spending the extra $0.01 in tax to support my community and offset that spending by not buying fucking powdered ranch mix for a shitty recipe.

1. Brine the pork chops

The inclusion of “packet of ranch dressing mix” is a HUGE red flag.  No thank you.

Look, the focus group was split on whether they like broccoli or grean beans with their meal, same as they were split on potatoes or sweet potatoes. So just make it either/or.

The Kochs are evil and this campaign is wrongheaded, but. Before I got to the part where it was revealed that the MAN version of this mailer didn’t have the recipe, I kinda thought it was cute? Like, hey, if they’re going to irl spam me, at least there’s something of use in it.

I think they’re trying to be clever because pork is associated with “unnecessary spending” in a budget.

That recipe - yuck. I’d bristle at that gristle.
