Fair enough. I have definitely noticed that trend as well and it makes me very sad. It’s really too bad that women see it as potentially damaging to their reputations to identify as feminist.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of women have not been exposed to womanism before. I don’t think that this is Beyoncé’s fault, although I do agree that celebrity discussions of feminism are lacking. Beyoncé maybe didn’t say everything perfectly the way we would have liked to but she explicitly addressed the

Many, many WoC do not consider feminism to include intersectional awareness of racism and sexism because to be honest, mainstream feminism typically doesn’t.

I honestly think she misspoke and what she meant was that women deserve the same rights as men. Literally everything else she said shows clear and specific understanding of the ways in which rights are systematically denied to women.

Same!

No problem! I looooove NARS shadows. I find them pretty similar to UD in terms of pigmentation, blendability, layerability, staying power, etc. Main differences IMO are that NARS has some more unique shades (see: lhasa) and UD has better packaging (I just think it’s cuter and I like that I can see the color through

Very true!

FYI you are literally describing whiteness studies, which is extremely intersectional.

As someone who partially majored in whiteness studies, it’s still awk even in that academic context. Since all other history months are celebratory, it sounds like a celebration of whiteness/white supremacy.

Well, Naked Smoky is of course a classic (and with good reason!). This is a great cool crease color, I’m in love with this satin finish color and its formula, this is a beautiful and unique taupe-y purple, and this is an amazing cool toned palette with some nice variety!

I’ll have to try their other scents! I also love the staying power—best I’ve found.

BTW you recommended these perfumes a while ago and I got Avignon and it was legit life changing. Favorite scent in the world!

Yessss! Love them both so much more than any high end products. I wish I heard people talking about them more!

Oooo cool! You’ve sold me then, definitely picking some up!

Hey I’m Greek/Irish so very very similar :). And it works for me!

I have nails of steel (thank you genetics!) but now I still want to try it... I think I’ll have to. Mine never break and rarely flake but they do start bending after a while. Also, Gelous is my fave!

No problem! Origins is amazing—I have yet to meet a product by them that I don’t like. And this tinted moisturizer is so cool because it comes out of the tube white but then as you rub it into your skin it starts darkening to match your complexion (assuming your complexion is light-medium, sadly not an all inclusive

Lol then you totally get me! That’s my mentality.
