She guest starred on Elementary as a socially awkward software engineer. I think she was supposed to be on the autistic spectrum - I forget if it was implied or spelled out. A very different character and she was quite good there, too.

She's also going to be in Star Wars! As a very pink-looking lady.

Do you recommend the animation? I've only seen the '80s Megan Follows version and this series.

What I liked about the flashbacks and the tiny hints of PTSD is that it sort of re-framed Anne's wild imagination for me, at least in this interpretation of the books. It's not just a trait of Anne's particular personality; that imagination was also a coping mechanism for a terrible upbringing. Maybe that was implied

I wasn't that struck by the darkness since I was warned about it when I read advance reviews about the series. What did take my breath away, though, was the last few moments of the season finale. Wow, THAT was dark.

He is in AMAZING shape, as that one scene where he's shirtless with a lamb wrapped around his neck attests.

I never finished the game. The writing was good (and I certainly understand why it's so critically loved) but I just lost interest. The gameplay was tedious for me.

My bf and I watch this show together and we both find the scenes of Sherlock waking up to be noticeable. Also, May wears a ton of beige and floral prints - I had to rewind a bit on the stream to see if she was repeating the same outfit - which tells me that maybe she's more of a figment of Sherlock's imagination than

Wasn't it revealed in the series finale that John Goodman's character died? Is he coming back as a ghost?

Even though it was satisfying to read about Bonnie's past and how it influenced her actions, I don't know if it's worth reading the book after watching the show.

Interestingly, I remember that Bonnie is not a WOC in the book. I understand why they made changes to the finale, but it is disappointing and predictable.

He recognized her. Alexander Skarsgaard did an interview with New York Mag about shooting the final episode and he pretty much confirms that they both worked out a "reaction" shot at each other.

In the book, circumstances were a bit different. Perry hit Celeste once and everyone was just standing there, stunned. He wasn't actively hitting anyone at the point when Bonnie stomped over and give him one big shove. Under these circumstances, no one was in immediate danger - in the show's version, you could easily

Bonnie ends up doing community service in the book - which she was more than happy to do so! Of course.

She's another Game of Thrones cast member! Hopefully she'll get to do more here than she did on that show (oh, Sand Snakes… what could've been…).

Agree. From a story perspective, it makes sense for JJ to have very plain fight choreography b/c it's a reflection of her powers. She simply doesn't have to try that hard.

She affords it through the roommate, gigs, and yes, some funds from her parents month to month. Just look at her wardrobe, honey, you can tell she doesn't make a ton of cash.

She has an "all-American" look or whatever, and uses it to upend expectations. Not a bad use of her appearance for the roles she's chosen.

Yeah, I bet the trailer for Japan really heavily featured Rocket. Apparently their marketing strategy for Japan was all racoon, all the time.

He seems capable of understanding things in a non-literal way.
