THIS. Systemic JRA sufferer here. I get really sick of people who think RA doesn’t exist or is caused by gluten/sugar/moonbeams or whatever the flavor of the month is. We’re tired enough fighting our bodies. We don't need to fight over terminology and whether it actually exists too.

I participated (and donated) for the event, called “The Running of the Gnomes”. This year, almost $4,000 was raised for the Cleavland Clinic, which has been researching a possible vaccine that may be starting clinical trials next year.

My new thing is everyone telling me I’ll be cured of JRA if I eat paleo. I thought it had died out for the gluten free craze, but I was wrong.

There are not enough stars for this. I never wish death on my enemies. I wish them the 3 year course of prednisone I had to take for my systemic JRA.

I wish I could do more. There are protests planned for the next few days so hopefully more and more people will boycott him.

That’s what I keep telling myself. I'm glad in this one instance that I can do something however small to rectify it. I've heard from other patients as well who are fleeing en masse. Hopefully enough will leave that he won't have a practice, but I'm sure there are crazies out there who see this guy as a persecuted…

This guy was my dentist. I’ve spent much of the past 24 hours trying not to be physically ill knowing that I gave this guy money. That I unknowingly helped him in this horrific act. He deserves to lose his practice and rot in an African prison.

Joyce's death in Buffy totally freaks me out the most. Not for it's horror elements, but the fact that it's happens every damn day makes it just plain eerie.
