I was at the IAA last Thursday, too! Would have been great to meet you, Torch and to say hello to my favorite automotive journalist. Also thanks for the love for the Ypsilon. That generation is my least favorite by far, but the first two and the last one are just lovely little cars. I owned a second gen LX model and

Since there isn’t one at the front, I have to assume it wasn’t road legal and more of an exhibit. Both Germany and Switzerland mandate big front license plates that would be very visible in that picture.

Can you please stop posting pictures of the IXs fucking fugly face? My Monday can only get so bad before jumping off a cliff becomes a real option. >|(

Yeah thats all nice and all but the driving itself still lacks any immersion or emotion. Their cockpit camera setup has not evolved since GT5 and that is just not good enough anymore. I assume the “thud” sounding crashes without consequences will also be unchanged, as will the “ram your way through a weird, random

Look at that fucking monstrosity. It is so unbelievably fugly inside and out, it boggles my mind anybody would want to drive this and make a total tool out of themselves. This just screams insecurity and erectile disfunction.

I was at the IAA today. I have to say, if from now on all their cars will be styled like those superfugly EQ lard ass blobs with completely over the top interiors screaming at your face with colors and screens and lights and shit, then Mercedes’ days might be numbered. Such a humongous disappointment.

Just compare it to a current M4 and it suddenly becomes the zenith of modern BMW design in comparison.

Smart? There is nothing dumber than driving an SUV in the city. Auto fail.

No. Please stop this shit. I am an atheist and even I am getting annoyed by your misuse of the term holy grail.

Thing is, I damn well know I need this. For months now, I am eagerly awaiting the day when they finally release the PS4 version that still isn’t out yet. You actually made me me chack and be heartbroken again. So please corect the article, Elizabeth.

Surprised by all the negative comments, to me this is easily the most beautiful Audi since the 1st gen A5. They were in serious danger of becoming BMW level of gaudy with all those creases upon creases, plump proportions and overly brazen detailing but this thing is edgy, yet elegant AF. And the lines are just lovely,

Thing is, a Golf is not tiny. It fits a family just fine and comfortably. You murricans and your obnoxious trucks and SUVs are largely obese.

If you look at that thing and think to yourself “Yeah, thats a car!” you are delusional. It is yet another prime example of obnoxious murrican excess on wheels.

... get another pointless fucking obnoxious truck that he doesn’t need and that doesn’t fit his description on the road instead of an actual car?

I wonder how we Europeans cram babies into Golfs or Polos even, yet you murricans need huge SUVs for single babies. I mean, I know yall fat bunch of blobs but come the fuck on, it is a baby human, we are talking about, not a baby Godzilla... I was hauled around in a Porsche 924 the first 4 years of my existance, FFS.

Indeed, Alpine ou va sortir la baise d’ici!

A light and nimble electric SUV? Uhm...

“why not get the one I can daily?”

Probably not something you ‘murricans can connect with, but I have to say the Barchetta. Lovely looks, great fun to drive, not expensive and not as unreliable as everybody automatically thinks because it is a Fiat. In a just world, this little gem would be on its third gen now, in direct competition with the MX-5

Not every chance should be taken. There are plenty of good, niche ideas car makers could risk to realize. This wasn’t one of them. SUV cabriolets just suck and should be killed with fire, period.
