It’d be a better comparison to look at the Model Y, as it’s closer in size. The long range AWD Model Y does 0-60 in 4.8s per Tesla and runs $53k.

Nope, it’s a Musk-stang.

They’ll do it and then only sell it in overseas markets.

which is critical for an EV in winter.”

I don’t see a way to get heated rear seats at all. I don’t see that in any package or in any trim. Heated front seats are optional ($2600) for the base trim and included in the higher trims.

Yeah, the color options are pretty weak.

that’s a huge mess-up not offering standard heated front AND rear seats AND standard heated steering wheel, like my leaf has.

Add more ponies... it still ain’t a Mustang.

You can only get colors on the GT trim, which is currently unavailable. All other trims are greyscale and Prius red only. And the $16k upcharge is a steep ask just to get non-anonymous colors.

The colors all suck except for Grabber Blue, which is GT-only. After fiddling with the configurator for all four trims, the Mach E is a no-go for me. It’s too expensive, I have to pay for a bunch of crap that I don’t want to get the larger battery, and heated seats aren’t even standard, which is critical for an EV in

Electric car power figures are still a bit hand-wavy anyway, but more is better!

The Ford Mustang Mach-R-E might be more powerful, but will that increase or decrease the dilution of the brand?

the Mach-E now makes up to 14 more horsepower than originally promised.

I’m hoping Ford uses the chassis for a low slung electric Falcon (4 door stang) as a Tesla 3 competitor.

with a targeted 0-60-mph time in the mid-5-second range*

Launched a decade too late to be viable, and even then it was probably 4-5 years too late.

A small shooting brake would be great...

It looked good when equipped with the right colors/ wheels but the interior was a little tight. The dash felt high for the type of car it was and I really think they need to get away from the weed grinder gear selector. They’ve put a similar joystick as the RR’s have in the FPace SVR. I dont see why its not just

I’m not sure I would want a FWD hatchback Jag, now a small RWD shooting brake, different story. Oddly enough, I’m a fan of the F-Pace, I think it successfully embodies Grace, Space, and Pace, I am struggling to think of a single compact hatch that executed grace well, not even the Golf or A-Class. Maybe Alfa had one

Jaguar needs a lot runway to get it's shit together... I don't wanna be the tarmac
