It’s just going to be gifs of the the double-doink on repeat and links to Deadspin’s somewhat odd narrative that Nagy is OBSESSED with the miss and finding a kicker, which, well, sure, since he doesn’t want to end up like the Vikings. Also, lots of shit talking about fans being obsessed with the ‘85 team. It’s been

Yup. For comparison’s sake, I’d love to hear Drew’s pre-unionization and post-unionization takes, as he likely draws the most traffic here. (Honestly, I have no idea his opinion on the subject matter, but I don’t remember him taking Katz’s stance, at least publically.)

“I’m pro-abolition, but I don’t think abolition makes sense for us.”  Thomas Jefferson

Some people are fans of the Green Bay Packers. But many, many more people are NOT fans of the Green Bay Packers.

I think you could say that Rodgers is the greatest quarterback statistically of all time, while Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time because of trophies. In the ‘80s, we called this the Montana-Marino dichotomy.

“Rogers”

I usually read all of these, but made it about two paragraphs into this one and realized I am completely comfortable not knowing anything about the Bengals this year. I stand by decision.

The same thing happened to me with the fucking Wallflowers. Get your fucking headlight fixed, Jakob Dylan!

Yeah, I feel that way about Gentlemen, Start Your Engines.  Too much synth, too much Springsteen-style vocal straining.

Ha, ha. Nothing like windswept Phil. Looks like the house band for the ‘80 Napa County Wine Mixer.

I am being pedantic about your use of “objective”. Critically acclaimed, sure! But not “objectively good”.  Clean air is objectively good because you need it to breathe and live.  Bruce is just a musician that people either like or don’t like, but whether you or me or anyone considers him good is subjective, not

To respond to your last point, that’s just my subjectivity. Shakedown was always a bit too disco-y for me personally. I love the live versions of a lot of the songs on “Go to Heaven” (Sailor/SOS, Feel Like a Stranger, Althea), but the actual album sounds like a furniture store in 1980.

Nah, you can’t say any music is “objectively good,” its all subjective. Like some people might say Bruce sounds like he is severally constipated when he sings and that is really off-putting. He writes some good songs, but this tweet is very true:

I like them, but I get it why people don’t. It takes effort to actually like some of their songs at first and not think it is “noodling bullshit” as someone earlier described it. Also, they have some bad heroin ‘80s and ‘90s Garcia stuff, and some bad “trendy at that time” songs (France, Shakedown (disco!!), and most

Floridians.

I just wanted to add that Russell Wilson’s ex-wife’s last name is “Meem” and this picture exists.

Worked for Trump, I guess.

Yeah, bringing in Arians usually has the opposite effect.
