Yeah I infer more about race based on characterization, name, and skin color in anime. I try to avoid getting overly influenced by skin color though because I know there is a tendency to make a lot of characters paler.

Well, you’re right. I was just assuming there’d be something big, like Star Wars, but there isn’t. Unless something surprising pops up, I guess it’s not the worst idea.

The problem is so much of the party leadership has now proven to have no spine and be so morally bankrupt, that I seriously question why any Republican, like you describe (of which there are many, many reasonable Republicans) aren’t foaming at the mouth with anger and looking to jump ship or create a new party, or

Amen to that! Two greats, I also actually really enjoyed Black Lagoon, but even that is like 10 years old now.

I have a hard time getting interested in anime anymore. I’m not against the art form but it’s hard to find reviews and suggestions of any particular anime as an art form and not through the lens of an anime lover.

For me the important thing about kill la kill was it read entirely as satire and a mockery of overplayed anime tropes.
